US Soft Patch — Sell in May?
A few updates on my views regarding economic growth and inflation:
As mentioned on the chat in recent days, my concern has grown that the US is finally falling into an economic growth “soft patch” (not necessarily recession).
Inflation could remain sticky into mid-late summer — Powell’s comments about not seeing the ‘stag’ or the ‘flation’ could look particularly tone deaf in a few months’ time.
This isn’t your dad’s Soft Patch…
