ICYMI — From The Chat

It occurred to me that not everyone can be or wants to be in the Substack chat for compliance reasons/general preferences, and the app is still a bit clunky with replies tucked away (why I started resurfacing key replies as main threads). I don’t know if this will be of value to subscribers so please feel free to reply if this is a waste of inbox space and I will reconsider this, but I am thinking ~1x/week I will post the chat highlights in a post called “ICYMI From the Chat.” It would be a mix of charts and comments that I found material to my thinking, and interesting comments/questions from subscribers. But I really don’t want to add to the pile of weekly emails, and I hope this exercise doesn’t discourage people from speaking up on chat. I don’t want to jam inboxes. I also need to reiterate from my announcement at the start of this journey that it has never been my intention to write on a fixed schedule just for the sake of writing, but rather to write when there is a banger idea or framework to share, which might come fast and furious, or every few weeks.
With that, let me try this out (and apologies in advance for the length but there was a lot of action in the chat this week)…I plan to curate a little more thoroughly and get the length down from 10mins to more like 5mins.
